Melissa Troiano Maalouf, will join ZwillGen in its Washington, D.C. office on January 9, 2012. Melissa is joining the firm from Willkie Farr & Gallagher, LLP where she spent 4 years working on international and U.S. data privacy and consumer protection issues.

We’re very excited that Melissa is joining us. We created the firm to serve our clients that do business in cutting-edge areas of technology and as our practice increasingly grows, we continue to need sophisticated and experienced Internet lawyers. Melissa’s international data protection experience helps expand the firm’s existing capabilities in this area and her addition will help us offer even richer experience and breadth to our client base.

Marc is the founder and managing member of ZwillGen PLLC and has been regularly providing advice and counsel on issues related to the increasingly complex laws governing Internet practices, including issues related to Electronic Communications Privacy Act (“ECPA”), the Wiretap and Communication Acts, privacy, CAN-SPAM, FISA, spyware, adware, Internet gambling and adult-oriented content.
