On Wednesday September 19, 2012, Senator John Rockefeller sent a letter to the CEOs of the top Fortune 500 companies requesting that each company provide responses to a list of eight questions to help him better understand the companies’ views on cybersecurity.

Among these questions, Rockefeller asked what cybersecurity practices the companies have put in place, what involvement the federal government has had in the development of such practices, what concerns they have with such involvement and lastly, the companies’ views on the Cybersecurity Act of 2012

Responses to the questions are due by Friday, October 19, 2012. ZwillGen PLLC will post some suggestions related to the Cybersecurity Act by Tuesday, September 25.  Please check back.
