ZGBANNERZwillGen, a leading boutique law firm specializing in the intersection of law and technology, is seeking candidates for its 2014 Fellowship Program.  The program presents a unique opportunity to work with and learn from some of the brightest and most accomplished privacy and data security lawyers representing the biggest names in technology, including  Yahoo!, Airbnb, Carpathia, Cablevision, Pandora, Electronic Arts, Sony, Zynga and others.

The ZwillGen Fellow position is for attorneys who have (or will have graduated from law school by June 2014) have taken the bar exam (or will take it by July 2014) and are entering the work force for the first time as a full-time attorney.  The Fellow position is slated to last for 12 months with a salary range of $70,000 – $80,000.

Applicants must have a zeal for all things technology and have taken technology classes in law school, such as classes on data privacy, cybersecurity, cybersurveillance, copyright, mobile applications and similar subjects.  Experience working with a technology company or organization is a plus.

The ZwillGen Fellow will work closely with ZwillGen attorneys on a variety of cutting edge and legally challenging Internet privacy, security and surveillance issues.  The Fellow will wear a variety of hats and must not only be smart, motivated and enthusiastic, but will be required to provide high quality legal analysis and research, concise and cogent writing, and must embrace a fast-paced fun and lively environment.  A good sense of humor and a desire to work hard and have fun is a must. The Fellow also will be expected to engage in client development, speaking and writing engagements, blogging, teaching, marketing, assisting with development of firm forms and precedent materials and generally helping out around the firm.  The Fellow also will be required to complete a substantial writing assignment (either a law review article or significant journal article) in conjunction with one or more of our attorneys during the Fellowship.

Qualified and interested candidates should submit to whatever materials they deem interesting and material to our consideration of their candidacy, which should include, at a minimum, a description of their academic and professional experience.

Deadline to submit applications is October 31, 2013.
